dc.description.abstract |
A mathematical model of resistance spot welding process using finite elemental package MSC Marc has been developed. Welding conditions to provide desired diameter of a weld nugget for cold-rolled low-carbon steels with thickness of 1…6 mm were recommended. A hardware-software system for resistance spot welding process control of a capacitive discharge welding machine МТК-1601 in respect of small scale sheet metal components has been developed. A method of programmed control by the resistance spot welding process on single-phase alternating current machine using Joule energy level in the contact zone is proposed. |
