Образовательные программы на английском языке как инструмент доступа к иностранной студенческой аудитории

Abstract

На основе статистических данных ОЭСР рассматривается влияние тренда организации обучения иностранных студентов в неанглоязычных странах на английском языке на динамику экспорта образовательных услуг; оценивается значение расширения в белорусских университетах спектра образовательных программ и курсов на английском языке в контексте привлечения на обучение иностранных студентов. As a conclusion, we note that today educational programs in English are an important tool for expanding the access of Belarusian universities to foreign student audiences. The implementation of the project to increase the volume and areas of training of specialists in English will increase the recognition and attractiveness of Belarusian higher education for foreign citizens, and will also stimulate the growth of the interest of Belarusian youth in getting education at Belarusian universities, promote the mobility of faculty in order to improve language competence. In this context, the experience of adapting higher education in other non-English speaking countries to the challenges of globalization is of undoubted research interest.
