dc.description.abstract There were following types of family in the town’s environment during the XVI–XVIII centuries: 1) single people, 2) small family, 3) big family. Great category of townfolk could be attributed to the first type of family: unmarred, widowers, widows and divorced spouses, which had not children’s in the marred. This type of family was very unstable. Townfolk, which belonged to single people, changed their family status very quickly. Such type as a small family was prevalent type of family in Belarusian’s townfolk during the XVI–XVIII centuries. This type of family included several subtypes. They were such subtypes as 1) small simple family, 2) small compound family, 3) small not complete simple family, 4) small not complete compound family. Big family had two subtypes in Belarusian’s towns during the XVI–XVIII centuries. They were such subtypes as a big father’s family and big brother’s family. However the quantity of big families were not so large in comparison to other types of family. ru_RU
