Abstract:
The proposed method of software adaptive power control of projection welding makes it possible to exclude the appearance of splashes of molten metal and to achieve stably high mechanical properties of the formed welded joints without interrupting the technological cycle due to the optimization of the input of electrical energy in each half-cycle of the mains voltage with the help of a corrective power regulation system, which is achieved using the movement of the movable electrode during heating to determine the required degree of deformation of the relief as a condition for the beginning of the increase in welding power to the maximum and control at the same time of the movement speed of the movable electrode.
